Applications for admission for the new academic year will be accepted from 15 January 2021 and will close on 15 February 2021, on a first come first served basis. Interested parents may fill in the Admission Form online from the link on this page, and wait for a communication from the school for an interview appointment.

These are the steps to securing your child's admission at Learning Tree:
Collect the Admission Application Form from the school OR download it from this site
Fill in the Admission Application Form
Submit the Form at the school office, at which time you will be given an appointment for a meeting with the Principal
Meet the Principal with your child at the appointed date and time, along with your child's Birth Certificate. If your child has attended another school previously, bring the child's Progress Report and other relevant records.
Once you have been notified that your child had secured admission, pay the required amount towards the Admission Fees and the Term Fees
Attend the New Parent Orientation Session on the date/time intimated
We accept admissions throughout the year, subject to the availability of appropriate vacancies AND your child fulfilling the admission criteria.
Your child has to fulfil at least one of the following eligibility criteria for you to seek admission in Learning Tree Montessori School
Be between 2 ½ and 5 ½ years of age. In exceptional circumstances, and depending on the development of the child, the age limit may be relaxed by a few months.
Be between 5 ½ and 11 years of age and be seeking admission to Classes I/II/III/IV/V
Be below 11 years of age AND be faced with a functional, cognitive, development or social challenge, and therefore unable to attend a mainstream school.
If your child satisfies at least one of the above criteria, you may approach the school in person between 9 am and 2 pm on weekdays or between 10 am and 12 noon on Saturdays, where you will be guided through the admission process,

download the application from this site, fill it in, and submit the same to the school office between 9 am and 2 pm on weekdays or between 10 am and 12 noon on Saturdays.
The granting or withholding of admission is entirely at the discretion of the school authorities.
Talent Day was held online on Children's Day, on 11 and 12 November 2020. Each child displayed his or her special talent in a chosen area of music, dance, skating, martial arts, yoga, story-telling, drawing, etc. It was a fascinating day for all, and an inspiring day for the children. On the second day the children had a special treat - a play enacted by the teachers!
Project Work was done during 11-20 September 2020, wherein the children learnt and practiced life skills, physical skills and science experiments at home, and then demonstrated the same online. Cooking delicious food, ironing clothes, stitching, new yoga postures, study of plants, new skating maneuvers, and air pressure experiments were some of the favourites of the children.
Grandparents Day was was held online between the children and their grandparents, class-wise, from 27th July to 29th July 2020. As it was held online, almost the entire community of grandparents could attend. The children performed dances and skits for the grandparents, while the grandparents related stories and sang songs in return. In the individual skill games section the children were more than a match for their grandparents!
The Annual Concert was held at Vivekananda Auditorium in March 2020. The children regaled the 1000 strong audience for 3 hours with songs, plays and dances.
The Olympiad results for this academic year were outstanding this year too. The school had 6 international top 30 rankers in the Math Olympiad, 3 in the English Olympiad and 1 in the Science Olympiad. Medals, prizes and certificates were awarded to these and other high-performing students.
The Overnight Camp was held on 31st January 2020 in the Neelankarai campus. It began after school hours with a visit to the entertainment park VGP Universal Kingdom. The exciting rides there thrilled the children. This was followed by games in school, music, dance, dinner and finally a lot of chatting till bedtime. It was a tiring but memorable day for the children.
The younger children had an outing to Guindy Park.
Golu was celebrated in October 2019 with setting up of the Golu stand on which the children displayed their favourite toys from home. Visiting parents were greeted by children in their ethnic clothes.
Diwali was celebrated with the setting up of colourful rangolis and lighting diyas in school.
Christmas was celebrated with a Christmas Party in school complete with a visit from Santa Claus who distributed gifts for the children. This was also a day of giving, when children gifted toys, clothes, books, food, etc. for an orphan home in Chennai.
The older children visited the Lotte India factory near Chennai on 7 Nov 2019 for their second term outing. They were given an overview of chocolate making and then taken round the factory to see how the famous Choco Pie was made. The younger children spend a morning in the Guindy Park and the Gundy Snake Park on 11th December for their outing
The older children visited The Organic Farm, Nerkunampatti, about 80km from Chennai on 2nd August 2019. This was a part of their project on Zero Waste. They observed how the farm naturally recycles animal and plant waste, and also the zero waste activities practiced at the farm. They were also introduced to phyto-remediation techniques to recycle waste water. The younger children visited the Infinity Park in Santhome and the Traffic Island on Marina Beach on 22 August 2019.
